Electronic Application Process For The 2005-2006 School Year

The application process has been simplified through the One Stop Aid process. All financial aid documents needed for verification are collected with the financial aid application. The data is reviewed and verified prior to processing to ensure that the student receives a valid Student Aid Report (SAR). Additionally, the processing time is reduced. It will take ten (10) business days for NCCU to electronically process your application while the Department of Education will take up to six (6) weeks.

Please take advantage of the One Stop Aid Process by submitting the following documents to the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid: 1) Free Application for Federal Student Aid or Renewal Application for 2004-2005 2) Student and/or Parents/Spouse 2003 Federal Tax Returns and 3) Dependent or Dependent Verification Worksheet. These documents should be completed on or before our priority date, April 1, 2004. Students who have valid SARS by the priority date are assured eligible grant funds and final awards by June 1, 2004. We encourage all students to utilize this process and comply with the priority date to ensure that financial aid resources are available prior to fall registration.
