Faculty & Staff - Bio Ray Dragon
Mr. Ray Dragon brings to the VITP a broad background, including video production and over 10 years experience with computers. Mr. Dragon, always having had a flair for drawing, did undergraduate work in Radio, Television, and Film (basically, bringing drawings to life) before discovering his true passion - computers. From the time of acquiring his first hand-me-down computer from his father in 1990, Mr. Dragon has been constantly upgrading both hardware and software. With his introduction to the Internet in 1995, Mr. Dragon was able to merge his two interests, drawing and computers, into computer-based graphic design and website development.
His interest in technology took another new direction in late 1995 when, at the urging of Drs. Walker and Bozeman, Mr. Dragon started concentrating on accessibility issues for persons visiting websites he had created. Mr. Dragon insists that no person should be denied the information contained on a website simply because they cannot see it, hear it, or click a mouse to get it.
Mr. Dragon's broad background in technology assists the VITP in providing cutting-edge delivery of course content to everyone.
