Obtaining a Personal Identification Number
A personal identification number (PIN) is required for you to access EAGLELINE to register for your classes. All students will obtain a PIN from their academic advisor. PlNs are not given over the telephone.
Continuing Degree Students
If you are enrolled for the current semester, you should register during the early registration period in order to have the best class selection. You must register using EAGLELINE. Your advisor will give you a PIN at your advising conference.
New Degree Students
New graduate students will be assigned an advisor and obtain their PlNs in the department of their graduate major. Special (non-degree) graduate students may obtain their PlNs from the graduate admissions office of the school in which they will be taking classes.
After meeting with your advisor to obtain a PIN, complete a Registration Worksheet (available in the printed NCCU Class Schedule or from your faculty advisor - the worksheet contains the information Course Call Number, Subject Code, Course Number, and Section) and then follow the simple EAGLELINE instructions below.

Press 1 - To Register for courses, drop courses, change course options, or list your course schedule
You will need your 9-digit Student ID Number and your 6-digit PIN before proceeding
Check Course Availability Press 2
Press 2 - To check course availability (listen carefully to the information, then press the number selection of the term for which you are registering)
General Information Press 3
Press 3 - for general registration information. Within this sub-menu:
Press 1 - Hours of operation for the office of the Registrar, EAGLELINE, and EOL
Press 2 - Registration deadlines
Press 3 - Pre-registration
Press 4 - School ID cards and validation procedures
Press 5 - Obtaining academic transcripts
